Sinton & Sons Butcher Shops provide locally raised meat in Paso Robles, Templeton, Creston, Santa Margarita, Shandon, Pozo and more – Pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, sausage, jerky, chicken, wine and other provisions sourced from Central Coast ranches.

San Luis Obispo County, California has a rich ranching history, with ranches that date back to the late 1700s that are still active today.

Avenales Ranch

Located in the Pozo valley, this ranch has been in the Sinton family since 1875. Bernard Sinsheimer, the original patriarch, amassed over 72 homesteads to create the 12,000 acre ranch, as well as the 6,000 acre Canyon Ranch. In 1972, the family planted their first grape vines and started Shell Creek Vineyards.

We are open for USDA harvesting of Cattle, Pigs, Lambs and Goats. To book a time to bring your animal in for harvest please email or call 805-237-8100 (we can also do wild game).
